Using Group to insert space between rows

2006-03-23 16:06

I'm using the group trick to insert a space between rows of my report. This works great except I don't want it to be included if it is at the bottom of the page.

i.e. I have report that is 3 cols x 10 rows so I can use $V{BreakGroup_COUNT}.intValue() > 3 to insert a space after each row. But, I don't want to include a group if I am on row 10 (otherwise it spills onto a second page - and prints a blank page).

Is there a LabelCount type variable so you could do something like:

(($V{LabelCount}.intValue() % 3) == 0 ) && (($V{LabelCount}.intValue() % 30) != 0 )

BTW still using jasper 0.6.6.
