Portrait and Landscape in one report

Hi,

 

I would like the first page of my report to appear in Portrait orientation because it is a cover letter.

 

I would like the rest of my report to appear in Landscape orientation.

 

Is there a way I can force the first page of my report to appear in Portrait orientation? I need to have both orientations in the report so that when the PDF is viewed, the cover letter is displayed in portrait, and all subsequent pages appear in landscape.

 

FYI, the cover letter (1st page) of my report is a sub-report in the Title band of the main report. I have tried setting the sub-report cover letter to portrait, but since it is included within a band in the main report, it still appears as landscape.

Ok, I got around the problem by splitting my cover page into its own report, and then using iText classes to stitch the portrait cover letter to the landscape report.

 

Works great.
