print PAGE footer when GROUP changes

has anyone been able to print elements in the page footer when the group changes?

 

let's say your group changes based on customerid, and you have a summary for each customer you want to print as part of the footer (so you can control positioning). has anyone handled anything like this?

 

nothing i've found in the forums helps.
