Install jasper reports

I am new to jasper reports...and it does not provide a step by step installation guide.

 

Can anyone help me..i want a step by step installation guide.

here are the platforms i am using

- windows

- jdk 1.5

- MySQL

- Jasper report 1.2

- ireport

Hi Venz,

there is nothing much to install actually. JasperReports provides a jasperreports-1.2.0.jar which you should add to the classpath of your project so you can use the API to program with it in your java app. (downloading the entire project provides you with docs and samles etc.)

 

If you unzip the the iReport zip you will find a iReport.bat which starts iReport designer. It also contains a lib dir where you can add your jars which iReport should now about.
