2006 IR Open Dicussion
By: deconcoder - deconcoder Crosstab Beans 2006-02-05 12:14 One of the great things about crosstabs is that they allow for bucketing of different things, which opens the door to comparative analytics in one report. Consider a survey. You have questions and responses. I want to show the score for each question asked, but then the percentage of each possible response. The problem is that there is one score per question, but there are many responses. It's very straightforward to get the bucketing to work with the responses, a single record w/the question and the choice, and the bucketing with create the sums (percentages). To combine the two things, I need to flatten out the two things and inject the scores into each of the beans that have the choices. Is there a better way?
