Creating report with Virtualizer

Hi,

 

I am curious to know how long it takes to generate Jasper report using Virtualizer. I am trying to generate report with 4000 records comes to 160 pages. And I am passing 150 as pages to be kept in memory. It is taking more than hour to generate report and by that time my application session is getting timed out.

 

Is it really takes hour to generate report or am I doing something wrong.

 

This what I am adding to parameter map to use Virtualizer.

 

parameterHashMap.put(JRParameter.REPORT_VIRTUALIZER,new JRFileVirtualizer(150,"/tmp"));

 

I am using 1.1.0 version.
