what's required on a client in a web app?

hi,

 

haven't used it yet, but before i do:

scenario:

a client computer, running a browser, connected to a j2ee-based web app that is hosting jasper reports

question:

are applets or any other download required on the client computer?

if you are delivering the report to the user as excel, html or pdf, the client will not need anything. If you choose to use the viewer, there is an applet provided by the library.
