Hi,

 

I am using Ireports for report layout. I have a report layout, where I have some fields(say 6) and some(say 4) parameters

 

I am successful in not showing the labels, fields and parameters which are not chosen in the report. The problem is there are spaces in between if only these few fields are displayed.. Please see the layout of my report

 

Institution: AAAA

Department : BBBB

(empty spacenot chosen for report)

Address: CCCC

 

Label1 Label 2 Label4 Label 6

 

PPP PPP PPP PPP

In my report I did not choose Label3/Field3 and Label5/Field5.. As evident, there are those empty spaces left in the final output of the report.

 

Is this the problem with Ireports or Jasper Reports, and please suggest a solution in getting around this problem.
