YoannEnovea
Hi everyone, Currently we have working Jasper reports created with Jaspersoft Studio with data adapters and we're trying to generate them dynamically using jasperreports engine in kotlin. The problem that arises is that data adapters are annoying to work with if we have several environments (staging, production, ...) and we'd like to use environment variables that we'd pass to a JRDataSource or similar. Is it possible to have a report that work with both ways ? or to have the report generated by Jaspersoft Studio use the same datasource ? and if yes, how ? Thank you Edited February 29 by YoannEnovea
Solution YoannEnovea Posted February 29 Author Solution Share Posted February 29 Hi back, so we just foundout that, if we give the same name to the connection than the one in the Data Adapter, it already works seamlessly. So i'm gonna close this topic, but i think it's good to know if anyone else has the same issue.
