Running into error after upgrading from JasperReports Server 8.0.4 to 9.0.0. "REPORT_CONTEXT" does not exist.

Hi all,

After upgrading from JasperReports Server 8.0.4 to the recently released 9.0.0, I keep getting this error logged in the console when opening a report.

ERROR com.jaspersoft.commons.util.JSControlledJdbcQueryExecuter - exception occured while setting queries to reportContext net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRRuntimeException: Parameter "REPORT_CONTEXT" does not exist.

The error seems harmless since the report opens correctly, but this did not happen previously with 8.0.4.

I saw that this was also reported elsewhere: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/276290/jaspersoft-error-parameter-reportcontex.html it is mentioned there that this is occurring due to a feature that was introduced in 8.1.1.

Any thoughts on how to solve this issue?

Thanks

Hello,

The "Parameter REPORT_CONTEXT does not exist" message in the log is coming from the JRS server monitoring process and should not cause any issue for report execution. This annoying but harmless message has been reported internal  and will get fixed later in upcoming release (no ETA available for the actual date yet).
