julian111
Hi community, Thanks for reading. I have created a table in Jaspersoft Studio 8.1. containing a Column Header, Group Header and Details. I would like to span the Group Header to the full size of the table, so to combine all cells in this row and center the Group header. What I get: What I want: I already tried a couple of things including the com.jaspersoft.layout.grid.colspan and com.jaspersoft.layout.grid.rowspan and also the row span inside the properties of the column. All of them are not really changing anything. Can someone point me into the right direction, please?

Solution Scott Andersen Posted November 30, 2023 Solution Share Posted November 30, 2023 Highlight all the columns in the group header and right click / "Group Columns". This will create a grouped header section. You can then put the "Group Header" text element on the grouped section, and remove the cells for the individual columns. julian111
brilliant, thank you! I tried the same before but i had my table in the details band then and then it was multiplied a lot of times. In the summary band, it works :)
Nico_
I am in the exact situation of julian111, but I need to work on the jrxml file directly. How can I achieve a group header that spans over all of the columns? Thank you
