2005 IR Help
By: petridis - petridis Report design and XML 2004-03-23 08:47 Hallo, I hope that someone can answer the question. I read on http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net that A report design is represented by an XML file that has the structure defined in the jasperreport.dtd file. Where can I find complete documentation about the XML syntax that I can use to create a report ? Does anyone know if the ebook The JasperReports Ultimate Guide contains this information ? Thank you very much for your answers. By: Tobias Gaekle - ike987 RE: Report design and XML 2004-03-23 09:18 well, actually the DTD describes the syntax to use for creating the report. the ebook is well worth buying and explains quite everything more detailed. There is a tutorial, a quick reference, and a few other things. Also, you can simply download the source if you want to see any of the details, including the DTD (although, I don't think you'll need to see it after you've read the documentation) By: David Lim - aberrant80 RE: Report design and XML 2004-03-23 19:52 Yes, the ebook contains detailed explanation about the XML.
