PDF-Printout differs to jasper-printout

Hi,

when I print directly from jasper everything is OK. But when I export to a PDF and then print from PDF the positioning of the text in the doc is different (in PDF one line lower and indented more).

Anybody got an idea how to solve this?

Hi Mark,

 

I've noticed similar issues - when I either directly create a PDF from my code (JasperExportManager.exportReportToPdfFile etc) or save as PDF from JasperViewer, I lose my bold and italics. However, this formatting shows up when exported as RTF??!!

 

Have you had any success rectifying this?

Hi Paul,

I think your issue is something to do with the pdf-fonts (embedded etc.). Perhaps trying a different font would solve your problem.

 

I haven´t solved my problem yet. Will try the latest version to check if it´s been rectified. I´m currently using version 0.5.3

Hi,

just been talking to a customer and pdfs are printed correctly on some printers and not on others. So it´s a driver problem :-(
