Studio Professional - Sort Component Missing

Hi-

I am testing the Jaspersoft Studio Professional v. 7.1 and I can't seem to find the "Sort" component like the one on iReport Designer v.5.5.  Is sort component not available in Professinoal edition?  How do you use sorting on the Professional version?

I believe you are talking about Sort Fields in Jasper. The terminology might be different in ireport and Jasper, but the functionality is same.

Once you run the query in dataset and query dialog, you should see all your fields in the Fields list in the Outline.

In the same Outline, there is Sort Fields option. Right click on it and Create Sort Fields.
