Error '404' when running 'Login Service' Rest Api on JasperReports Server 7.1.0.

When you run the Service Rest-APi Login (rest / login) in JasperReports Server 7.1.0, the '404' error occurs.

In previous versions this api runs ok.

From version 7 you should use j_spring_security_check for login.

http://<host>:<port>/jasperserver[-pro]/j_spring_security_check

I am also having trouble after upgrading to Jasperreport pro version 7.1 with REST Login endpoint, you have suggested to use j_spring_security_check for login, but is it documented somewhere not to use basic authentication?  Your reply is really apperciated. 

I am still seeting the basic authentication as a valid option from documenation of version 7.1 here at https://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/tibco-jasperreports-server-rest-api-reference/v710/authentication

If j_spring_security_check is now the endpoint to use then why does the documentation say that the rest/login endpoint still works? It's even listed on the page that you posted a link to. Is that endpoint now depracated?
