Hi @all,

 

is it possible to embed HTML (preferred) or RTF or something else to print dynamically formatted texts within a jasper report ?

I have a similar problem. I have an HTML form where the user can embed special characters (like beta symbol) β and I need to be able to translate that into the actual symbol in a PDF (or better yet) RTF report. Is this doable? I tried using the is Styled Text attribute on my field, but with no result. When viewing the report as a PDF, I see the raw code (β) and with HTML, it causes a condition where no data is filled to the page. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Would the i8ln or whatever it's called to the trick? Know if works for languages... math is a language... hmmmm... =P just wondering...
