By: Teodor Danciu - teodord RE: GUI for CrossTab Reports 2005-10-24 07:59 Hi, Until the GUI tools will be able to follow with the crosstab functionality, the JasperReports library itself comes with its report template previewer that could help with the crosstab design work. Almost all the provided samples have an Ant target called "viewDesignXML" which opens a reporte template viewer. This is not a full GUI tool, but one could open a JRXML file with it and push the "Reload" button everytime the file was modified using a simple file editor. This is how we designer some of the samples found in the "demo/sample/crosstabs" directory of the project distribution. I hope this helps.
