How to pass the parameter to multiple SQLs in a Jaspersoft report

HI, 

I am using Jaspersoft 6.3 and I need to pass the parameter which i created at the main sql and I want to use the same parameter to pass to other SQLs used in the same report. For example, the main SQL used for a pie chart I am using in the report. And I created a diff. sql for the bar chart, but the where clause use the same filter. 

Please let me know if you need more information.

Ignore my question. I found the way and used the Report_connection. It works. Thanks

For the subreport, table or chart elements, you would find a Dataset options in the properties pane. 

You can access a button named Parameters.

In the parameter options, a parameter mapping should be done from the main dataset to the sub dataset.
