how to use an XML file

 Hi,

 

Configuration : JasperServer / JasperStudio 6.3.0

I have to do a new report using a XML file.

In the studio i manage to build what i wanted quickly. Working fine with the xml and got the behaviour i expected, i used the Xml DataAdapter to load the data in my report. In the Studio preview everything is great.
 

The problem is when i publish it on my jasper server, i don't see the "Xml DataAdapter" equivalent in the server datasource? and when i launch it of course it 's always empty. Can you tell me what i am missing ? there isn't a XML datasource ?

Is your data connected to Jaspereport Server (JRS) ? From what you wrote, I would conclude that same data source used in Jaspersoft Studio (JSS) is not used in JRS. 

If I'm right, then connect JSS to your JRS and use data from JRS directly, or alternatively, connect JRS to your data source.

Yes i got both, i dev on the JSS then i publish on the JRS. And my JSS is already connected to my JRS.

On the JSS everything works, and i m using the XML data adapter to fill my report with data.

When i publish it on JRS, no xml data source available, so my report is empty.
