2004 IR Help
By: PhreddNet - phreddnet TexturePaint in JFreeChart 2005-09-28 10:06 We're using Jasper 0.6.4 and iReport 0.4.1 I've created a report that uses a chart using JFreeChart 0.9.21. The chart works but to allow for better print on a black and white printer, I decided to try and use a TexturePaint object instead of regular Paint or GradientPaint. The report shows the TexturePaint correctly when viewed in iReport. The reports are deployed to an application server for general viewing. The report is created and saved as a JRPrint object. When it is recalled and viewed with an applet viewer, the paint in the chart displays with the default colors (using a bar chart) instead of the TexturePaint image. It will display correctly if it is created as a PDF. Thanks for any help.... Dave V.
