How to generate Large Single page report on Server and export to excel

Hi,

I have to generate a report on server using JSON datasource which should come in 1 page as it needs to be exported to XL/XLSx format. The data size is variable and can be upto 150K rows of record. I have increased the JVM memory to 2GB and cant increase beyond that. The report keeps on running indefinately.

Please suggest any other performance tuning tips.

Please note it uses a JSON Datasource already present on the server itself.
