Why does bolding show up in IReport but not for user on website?

I am modifying an already existing report in IReport 5.1.  I have Bolded certain words, and changed the color from black to a shade of blue.  They look bolded in the IReport designer, but when the user looks at it they don't see as bolded(at least not as much as I do in the designer).  The words that are black and bolded are coming across as bolded, but the ones that are the blue shade are not bolded according to the user.
