Mictog
Is it possible to develop (not run, not preview) a report in "disconnected mode"? I ask this as I am working on a report (cloning) that came with an application. The Application Report writers make (IMHO) an excessive number of calls to external files for programming. This causes a large memory leak to the point where iReports 5.6.0 is unresponsive and I have to close it, or force it closed. After a reboot, I am ok again for a period of time. What I would like to do is make my label changes and rewrite some of the external calls to simple data calls (allowing the work to be done in the SQL Server--ex. Checking for null values, concantenation, etc.).Thank you in advance.
