I have an jrxml file as an input to a method which would convert to the required csv/pdf format which is working fine. But when i try to filter the xml file to show on the report only values from a few tags(CDATA) the xml thrown in the ouput is the entire file and not the required values only(i.e all the tags in the xml).

Please advice or lead me to the class or package which would help me parse or retrieve and output only the required tags.(like in normal xml parsing) in JasperReports. How do i do it?
