serialUID incompatibility

I just upgraded from v0.6.8 to v1.0.0 and now I am receiving incompatible serialUID errors, see below, There jrxml files are being compiled via the ant task.

 

Does anyone have any insight into this issue?

 

If i revert back to v0.6.8 this goes away.

 

java.io.InvalidClassException: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.base.JRBaseReport; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 608, local class serialVersionUID = 10000

I would say "nothing uncommon"... this usually happens to .jasper - Files when you change the jar files of jasperreports to a new version.

I usually recompile all jrxml as a batch and afterwards it runs against the "current" version...

Don't know any other solution like "backwards" compatibility or sth like that...
