Unable to multiple select search result

Hi,

I have a problem with the jasper filter using the adhoc tool. Let's say i have a list of item in the filter below:-

A

A2

B

B2

C

C2

Then using the filter i search for A. The search result will display A & A2. However upon selecting one search result (A for example), the search result snaps back to show the whole list and A will be in the Selected tab.

Is there a way i can make the search result "stick" and not snap back to the whole list ?
