2004 IR Help
By: Fabio Furtado - fmfurtado Concatening different reports in only one PDF 2005-07-28 08:51 I need to create a simple report that contains internally more than one report. It is a kind of concatenation, where in only one simple click, the user will have 3 or more reports together in a same PDF file. Is it possible? I would appreciate a help. Fabio Furtado. I didn't know that I could do it. It solves all more problems :-) Fabio Furtado. What I like about subreports is that you can design and test each subreport independent from the master report. Your subreport will depend on a parameter passed on from the master report. You can give this parameter an initial value and test the report that way. Once tested it is just a matter of addinf the subreport to the master report. It's similar to a hyperlink on a web page. Be aware that the reference to subreport.jasper is an absolute reference in the file system. You can handle this by using a report path parameter before the subreport name in the master report.
