adding Sub report in JasperSoft studio

When I add Sub report to main report in Ireport designer, a parameter called SUBREPORT_DIR will be added to the main report. But this parameter is not added to main report when I do the same via JasperSoft studio. Am I missing any configuration?

Hi Rajesh,

The functionality of JasperStudio and Ireport are different.
In jasper studio for the subreport configuration below are the steps,
The subreport report path
If any parameter need to pass from main to subreport then we need to map that paramters.
