Keep Page Footer At Bottom -- HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

2005-07-12 12:09

Hi,

When creating a normal multi-page report the last page footer band always appears at the bottom. However, once I use this report as a sub-report all of a sudden the last page footer band jumps up to the end of the detail section.

Is there a way to keep this band locked at the bottom of the page? Why does it float up only when being run as a sub-report?

Please advise.

Thanks!!!

That's an error (bug) in JasperReports, send a bugreport to Theodor and maybe he will fix it..

does anyone know a workaround or if earlier/later versions don't have this problem? (i'm running with 0.6.7)

just saw the bug report for this issue and apparently it isn't a bug after all -- this is how subreports are supposed to work.

it seems like the workaround would be to remove the troublesome page footer from the subreport and put them in the master report. hopefully this will take care of my issue. i'll report my findings....

Ok, everything is working fine now. I removed all the margins from my subreport and migrated them to the master report. I also moved my page footer and last page footer from the the subreport to the master. That solved all the problems.
