Table without dataset / repeating data

As part of a proof of concept for my company I am trying to create a work order report in Jaspersoft Studio. The report will show only one record from a database containing information for a work order. Thus it does not contain any table with many rows.

I am having trouble figuring out how to layout the report in Jaspersoft Studio. When I try to insert a table, I have to base on a dataset. Is there no other way that to add an element at a time with a rectangle around it in order to have a grid?

The layout should be something like this:
