We use JasperReports in our Web based System. We have some

reports that are really huge in Data. They are required from

our government. We have some reports that will generate a

200MB PDF file. We are experiencing some trouble regarding

memory.

I think that Jasper creates the whole DOM Object in memory,

and only after it's done it starts printing to a PDF, or

whatever the format was selected. Is there a way to

configure Jasper to load some of the DOM objects (not all of

them), export them to PDF, and continuing loading the objects ?

This will increase the performance of the report generation,

and will also minimize the Memory usage.

If it is not possible to configure Jasper, is there a way to ask for this feature ?
