Why can't i place my subreports only in SUMMARY?

Hi,

i have created a report wich should contain two subreports.

Version is 6.0.3 .....

The Subreports show what they should show if i preview them.

I've found some hints in the net where teh subreports are placed in a DETAIL band.

But there content is not visible in this case.

If i place them in the SUMMARY band they will be shown...

Any suggestions if have wasted some hours to find hints to resolve my problem ...

Does your main report query return any record? If not, by default, nothing will be displayed. Setting whenNoDataType="AllSectionsNoDetail" in report design will show summary section even you do not have any data to display.
