Once your variable is created and configured correctly, with your field included and formatted in the Expression box and the Calculation Type set to Sum, call it from a Text Field. The Text Field can then be moved into the Summary band. The Reset Type for the variable is Report, as is the Evaulation Time on the Text Field.Let me know if you have follow up questions. s_odimas Posted November 22, 2014 Author Share Posted November 22, 2014 thanks for your reply.The thing is, I have a colum like this.i have a field quantity type doble and field Costfor Item Yards wich has 40.20 (40 yards with 20 inches) on stock i have to calculate it cost like this40X$10=400 Cost then yards has 36 inches, so 36/$10x20=72 the result is 40.72for item pound its a normal calculation like this 30.56 on stock, 30.56x$12 Cost= 366.72if you can se i cant calculate directly from the db like Stock X Quantityi need to get thesumof the result field Sorry for my bad english Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
