abelbarbosa
I'm trying to install Jasper Studio 5.6.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. For that purpose I've download and installed jasperstudio 5.6.0 deb package throught software center.I already checked that the application is installed (dpkg --get-selections | grep -v deinstall).Unfortunately I'm unable to run the aplication after installation. Am I missing any step?
bob_8
I just installed on 14.04 as well and don't have any issues with running the server. Did you start Tomcat and Postgres? (You can start them both by running ctlscript.sh in <jasper home>). You should also use the same script to check the status to make sure Tomcat and Postgres are running. Good luck. jasper_44
did you find the script runubuntu.sh ?? It's quite amateurish as you have to cd into its directory to run it. In fact to doesn't do much. The deb installs to/opt/jaspersoft/jaspersoftstudio-5.6.2.final/Jaspersoft Studio
