greek characters turn to ? in TextFields

I get this problem only in the TextFields of the report. Static text is dispayed fine. Any ideas ???

I had a similar problem with fields that contained characters not in the font. The chars in question were smart quotes and the tic. Filtering my data to change the smart quotest and tic's to standard quotes and apostraphe worked for me. I was lucky, as altering your data is seldom an option. I'm interested in knowing how to deal with this.

the problem is the database does not know the characters to display with the font, so it just puts a default character. I got this problem when you copied something from Word. Word has some weird single quotes.....Chalk another one for Mr. Gates.

Well my problem was that the report was running though a script which had wrong locale info when run. I now manualy set the locale in the script and everything is fine. Thanks anyway
