Query Execution taking time from jrxml

Hi All,

I am using jasper report with my spring application. I had intregrated using code, the query i have in jrxml file is taking more time(18 min) for compiling where as same query is taking less time to execute using db tools(2 min). When i tried to coordinate with my DB team they suggested to check for query optimizer parameter, which i am not getting how to set it. Can any one help me in resolving the problem which creating lot of headache for me.
