How to concatenate a word or two to the category labels?

Say I have a "1" from my query, I want to add the word "lot" the end of

the category for a JFreeChart of Jasper Report.

 

$F{lot} + ?

Your question is not clear. If you need to add tow fields from data base , just add like --  F1{blabla} + F2{blabla}.

If you want to add static text with DB fields just add like --  "blabla" + F1{vlabla}. Please post your question , if you need other than this.
