john.stanton
When I create an ad-hoc topic for use in JasperReports Server, the topic appears in the "View Reports" view. They work fine in the "Create Ad-Hoc Reports" view, but they also appear when trying to view pre-built reports using the "View Reports" button. Is there some way to hide these from view? Typically these topics have no report display settings so when clicking them, the user is presented with an empty report, which is somewhat confusing. H Mendoza
Hi there -Topics (whether created in iReport or off of a Domain) should always go into the Topics folder in the Organization (one is already set up by default). Also, again by default, there is another Topic folder in the Public folder. If you keep your Topics in these folders, then your users will know not to make an attempt to open them as reports. You probably don't want to hide them since you may want to configure them further in the future. For example, Topics created with iReport or Studio (.jrxml types) can be set up to work with Input Controls. Good luck with your work.
