Parameters in Ireport designer

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to create a parameter with drop down list of values at ireport designer level. For which I am using a direct data base connection as a source where at the query level

ex:select * from table name where $X{IN,columnname,parametername} is the query I wrote and parameter is made as collection .But I am not seeing any values in the drop down.

Appreciate your help in this regard.

Hi there - 

Maby this willl help: You will need to publish the report to the server, and then set up the input control for the parameter in your report.  The pop up you see in iReport (or Studio) is only used for testing and not the actual input control.  You can set up input controls from the server or from iReport, provided you have the server plug-in.  Studio also has a plug-in that you can use.
