amthomasiv
I just installed iReport 4.8.0 and I am getting the following error on just trying to start a new blank template. I am not even opening an old template. I just try to create a new one and immediately get the error:org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 2; columnNumber: 469; cvc-complex-type.3.2.2: Attribute 'uuid' is not allowed to appear in element 'jasperReport'.The full error:Error loading the report template Message: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 2; columnNumber: 469; cvc-complex-type.3.2.2: Attribute 'uuid' is not allowed to appear in element 'jasperReport'. Solution sanbez Posted November 20, 2012 Solution Share Posted November 20, 2012 Check in iReport Tools/Options/ClassPath Which version of jasperreports-X.Y.Z.jar in this classpath? After upgrade iReport to new version installer may save old classpath in new iReport with uncompatible libraries (previous version jasperreports-x.y.z.jar)
amthomasiv
I think that may have been it. I ended up just uninstalling and reinstalling without importing settings. It definitely was a bad setting from previous install import.
