I can get static text elements in the subreport to show, but I can't get my subreport data to load. I'm using the same Datasource for my main report and my subreports. I found this post of which the second answer from mdahlman seems to answer my question. However, after a lot of work I can't figure out how to add the helper class. I tried compiling a jar file to use as a scriptlet but I can't get it to work. Obviously I'm new to java and need some basic concepts explained.
