We are wanting to create a report engine that produces straight XML "reports" No real paging, formatting, etc. Once the XML is produced it will be used as a command stream to a Processor that will take action depending on the present nodes. So basically I want to create command reports for my processor in XML format. Should Japser be used in this manner? Does anyone have an example of creating an XML document using Jasper that comes out as a regular XML document? Should I be using Jasper at all? If not, what should I use?
