Hello.

I must create some reports that contain arabic text.

I use an XML file as data source. The text in arabic is inserted in the data source file as unicode characters (u06xx). If I create a text field with a string value containig some of these caracters, like in "Unicode exemple" from jasper docs, it works very well. The problem is that, at filling time, when extracting the text from XML data source file, jasper reports escapes the "" character and in the resulting report, instead of having arabic text I have a string that contains the Unicode characters exactly as they are in the XML file.

How can I tell jasper not to escape my "" from the Unicode characters.
