 Can you describe clearly for the “auto generation”? There are some possible methods. According to your requirement, a Java UPC-A barcode generator, compatible with Oracle, will be the best one. Just search it from the internet.

 I have ever used a very good one which is compatible with Oracle Reports with the latest version with detailed tutorial. It concludes the Free Trial Version which can be used after downloading it. You may have a try to make sure whether it is your needed one. Good luck!

 To generate UPC-A in Java which is compatile with Oracle Report will a better choice for simple implementation. Thus, it conuld simply output linear barcodes with your needed barcode type - UPC-A.

BTW, this barcode solution provider gives a lot of barcode reporting software. I just tried its free trial package and didn't check the cost and licensing conditions. Pick the one that works for you.
