mariarita
Hi,I have two subreports inside the same report. The length of the first subreport is not fixed, as it depends on how many rows are returned by a parametric query. Is it possible to tell iReport that the second report must start immediately after the end of the first subreport?I tried to graphically place the two subreport one after the other, but iReport interprets the layout in absolute sense,i.e. it places the second report on the exact place _on_the_page_ where I designed it , not after the end of the previous subreport (whose length is not known at design time) thanks mariarita
mariarita
Hi,SOLVED.I placed the second subreport inside the "summary" band - it works both if I use the "summary" of the main report, and if I use the "summary" of the first subreport. theclosh
You could have also used groups. I have reports with scores of subreports in them. I use Groups without Group Expressions setup and I place each subreport in a separate group band.
