What could be causing an infinite Loop

Looks like I'm currently on page 85286 and growing. there should be less than 5 pages in the report. I randomly get this inifite loop and I have fixed it in some places. I fixed it by providing more space below the sub report in the main report, weird. But this time I can't figure it out.

Im using jasper server version 4.

I should not get into an infinite loop but I do so has anyone else come across this and what was there solution?

I had infinite loop problem when I mistakenly set my subreport to be the same as the main report, so it is recursive. Just double check yor your report to see if you have the same problem.

 lol. I did just that. I opened up my subreport and it was my main report. But my mind wasn't on the inifinite loop problem at the time, replaced it with the real sub report and I haven't had the inifite loop problem since.
