topkatz
I have been using js ce 3.7.0 in production since teh first of this year. Before that in development for around another six months. I run on Cent OS 5.5 x64 using bundeled Tomcat and local mysql. My production enviorment is stable and I'm having no problems. Recently I started playing around with upgrading to 4.1. I have succesfuly done so in a VM eviorment. I am fairly confident that my reports do not break. Am I crazy to upgrade a working production enviorment? Should I just "Dont fix what is not broken". I like the idea of staying current, however I dont think there are any new features or bugs that are fixed taht I need. Thanks
brooneyx1
I recommend the upgrade since you already tested it, you get bug fixes as well as positioning yourself for future upgrades. I have upgraded to 4.1 and all went great. I use the themes options that were released with 4.0. Also saved Options are a nice feature.
topkatz
I'm leaning this way.I also did a successful roll back by switching out the old webapp dir and importing the sql dump.
