Noob help with Hello World from BlueDragon app server

Once I get it all connected, I can make the object calls to get the work done.

But I need help just getting all the parts installed and talking to each other to begin with.

I'm trying to use it via Blue Dragon Server JX 7, which is a Java based app server that can use Java libraries.

It is my understanding from what I HAVE been able to find that BlueDragon already makes use of itext, and installing JR could break existing code.  I would rather avoid that if possible.

I'd be glad to buy the book - I would love a good, portable report machine (in my world that means "pdf creator")

If I could just get it all glued together.
