2 subreports in detail band not alligned

Dear sir ,

 

we are using jasper reports for the past 2 months .

 

Our Requirement

 

we need to display to list of items one list after the other .

 

we have created 2 subreports for one for each list .

 

we have placed the subreports one after the other in the detail band

 

The Error is " the items in the second subreport comes at the end

 

of some item list of the first subreport

 

i.e let as consider the report has 5 pages ,

 

the first subreport starts from the first page to 4th page

 

the second report's items displays at the end of 3rd page , 4th page , 5th pages

 

 

 

But the Out put Should be

 

in a form which display all the items in th efirst sub report & then the items in the second report will continue

You need to look grouping as well. Check the samples for subreport and jasper to find out how grouping+subreport is the correct way for you.
