vickirk
You need to add some input controls to the report in JS, these then map onto your report parameters.
maverick911
Okay, but how can I fill input controls from my scheduled task ?Thank you for your answerwww.maverick-zone.fr
Gaby38
Hi Maverick! If you define parameters in your scheduled report, then you will get an extra interface when "scheduling" it to define these parameters. I already use that functionnality. You have to define as many "scheduled instances" as you have parameters packets to pass to your report.PS: You have to create also the corresponding input controlsPost Edited by Gaby38 at 10/21/2010 11:
maverick911
Thanks for your replyThe problem is that I schedule my reports programmatically using the jasper web services. Therefore I do not use the UI.Is there a way to do the same with the web service ? www.maverick-zone.fr
Gaby38
Sorry I didn't know!!When you launch a report from iReport (not by "preview" but by "Run Report" right menu), iReport uses the web services and is able to pass parameters to the report. So it seems possible. Perhaps looking at the iReport source you could find something? I cannot help you because I am not familiar with java language!
maverick911
Gaby,Thanks a lot for your time and answers.I eventually found a solution to my problem, a parameter I did not notice in the web service object can receive parameters for the report.Byewww.maverick-zone.fr
